If your web site takes more then a couple seconds to load, you could be losing customers. In today's market, the smaller page speed, and faster load times, will give you an advantage over competitors. Not only that, but Google will rank you higher in search engine results. In this article ill show you three easy ways to put up content that isn't going to weigh your site down.

HD photography for a website can be so massive in size, that its generally the #1 culprit of slowing down your website. Some Online website builders let you scale down images, but the image size might stay the same
The trick is, your going to be using a program called Microsoft Paint. If you use a Mac or Linux, your program will be different, but the steps and outcome will be the same.
Open Paint, and open the picture you want to adjust the size of. At the top bar, click on resize.
Hit OK and save the file under a different name, you don't want to override the original image! Now look at the bottom of your paint program, notice a big difference?
Not only did you reduce the picture size by more then half, it was easy to do and you didn't lose any noticeable picture quality!

If you are the owner of the video, and you haven't signed up for Youtube, do that first. Not only can you monetize the video for some extra ad revenue, it allows you to place youtube videos on your website using a simple HTML code.
Side Note: Your website builder must allow you add in HTML. Otherwise it wont work.
First you'll need the Youtube ID of the video you want to use
Here is the HTML code you need. Highlight, copy, and paste it into a note pad. Replace the text in orange with your video ID. You can also change the width and height to fit your needs. When your done, copy and paste it into your HTML editor.
